The executive body of SA, SSA and TOs to the Executive Governor of Abia State held a tour/inauguration of Umuahia North ward coordinators and their secretaries on Friday, the 23rd of September 2022.
The inauguration was led by the State Chairman, Hon. Engr. Kingsley Ajala in conjunction with the Audit investigation in removing insurgent aides to the Governor of Abia State.
Hon. Kingsley Ajala in his speech stated that the Governor would be delighted if all the aides successfully captures their respective polling units for the success of PDP in the coming elections. Also, for the immediate discoveries and removal of his dormant and double-dealing aides.
"I must be so sincere with you that we have so much benefited from the State Government. The Governor found us fit for this appointment, and we must never play with it" he stated.
Futhermore, Hon. Kingsley however mandated the LGA coordinator to provide a sound feedback in the next fifteen (15) days concerning the remaining hidden saboteurs who still earn from the government despite their insurgencies.
Also, it was decided that each aide present should gather and present 20 individuals who will willingly and at all cost cast their votes for all PDP candidates, starting with the governorship candidate Prof. Uchenna Eleazer Ikonne, to the Abia South senatorial candidate who is currently the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Okezie Victor Ikpeazu and by extension the rest of the candidates.
"It is a privilege and at the same time an undeniable responsibility upon us all" he concluded.
In addition to the State Chairman's speech, his Deputy Hon. Lucky Adindu, encouraged the house to work with team spirit and participate in ensuring that they deliver the party in the coming elections.
Summarily, the Leader, Umuahia North LGA and convener Hon. Vincent Ndumele on behalf of the body of appointees in Umuahia expressed their trust and support in the forth coming elections.
He however, thanked the PDP flag bearer Umuahia East Constituency, Hon. Kelechi Sunny Nwakodo and others who made the meeting eventful and also appreciated his financial support.
He also pleaded with all present to ensure to vote all PDP candidates from the state house of Assembly to the Presidential candidate.
The tour/meeting however attracted the presence of the Education Secretary, the Public Relations Officer of the Body, Hon. Ọnwa Onuzurigbo, and a host of other personalities.
