Hon. Emeka Obioma, distinguished member of the Abia State House of Assembly representing Umuahia South, has described children as agents of Change in our society, emphasizing the crucial role they play in shaping the future.
Speaking to newsmen on Children's Day in Umuahia, Hon. Obioma said, "Our children are the leaders of tomorrow, and it is our responsibility to empower them with the necessary skills and knowledge to drive positive change."
He highlighted the importance of investing in education, healthcare, and child welfare, saying, "By supporting our children, we are building a brighter future for our nation."
The esteemed Lawmaker also commended the efforts of organizations and individuals working to improve the lives of children.
"Your dedication and commitment to the well-being of our children are truly commendable" he stated
Hon. Obioma further encouraged the children to dream big, work hard, and never give up on their aspirations.
According to him, "You are the change-makers of our society, and I have no doubt that you will make a positive impact in the world."
He urged everyone; parents, guardians, teachers, organizations to prioritize the needs and rights of children, and to work together to build a better future for all.
