As Abia State marks its 33rd anniversary since its creation, the Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Tommy Obioma, has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the people of Abia.
In a message released today, Hon. Emeka Obioma expressed pride in the state's achievements over the past few months and optimism about the future under the leadership of Governor Alex Otti.
Hon. Obioma noted that Abia has faced numerous challenges since its inception but has continued to make strides in various sectors, including education, healthcare, and infrastructure development.
He commended the resilience and determination of Abians, which he credited as the driving force behind the state's progress.
"In 33 years, Abia has risen from humble beginnings to become a beacon of hope and resilience in Nigeria. We have faced our share of challenges, but the spirit of the Abia people has always triumphed. Today, we celebrate not just our past achievements but also the bright future that lies ahead under the dynamic leadership of Governor Alex Otti," Hon. Obioma said.
The Chief Whip also highlighted the significance of Governor Otti's administration, which he described as a "new day" for Abia.
According to him, Gov. Otti's vision and commitment to transparency, good governance, and sustainable development are already setting the stage for a transformative era in the state.
"With Governor Otti at the helm, Abia is poised for a new dawn. I urge all Abians to rally behind our governor as we work together to build the Abia of our dreams," Obioma added.
The Lawmaker encouraged Abians to use the opportunity to reflect on the state's journey and renew their commitment to its continued growth and development.
