Id el Maulud: Igbo World Union Felicitates Muslims, Urges Prayers, Peace, Love


The Igbo World Union (IWU) has extended warm felicitations to Muslims worldwide on the occasion of this year's Eid-el-Maulud, marking the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad. 

In a statement issued by the President-General of IWU, His Imperial Majesty Amb Sir Dr Mishak Nnanta (KJW, Ksm, JP), Gburugburu Ndigbo Dum, the organization urged Muslims to embrace the teachings of the Holy Prophet Muhammad, emphasizing the importance of love, patience, tolerance, and perseverance.

Sir Mishak Nnanta's message highlighted the significance of Eid-el-Maulud as a celebration of the Prophet's life and legacy, encouraging Muslims to showcase deep spiritual virtues. He emphasized that these values are essential for building a harmonious and peaceful society.

His Imperial Majesty also called for fervent prayers for the continued unity and progress of Nigeria, expressing optimism in the federal government's efforts to improve the lives of citizens under the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

"The Igbo World Union wishes all Muslims a happy Eid-el-Maulud celebration. We urge you to use this occasion to pray for our country's unity, peace, and progress. We believe that the federal government is working hard to address the challenges facing our nation, and we must support them with our prayers and cooperation," Sir Mishak Nnanta said.
