As the month of August begins, the Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly and Member representing Umuahia South State Constituency, Hon. Emeka Tommy Obioma, has extended heartfelt wishes to his constituents, praying for peace, progress, and divine favor in all their endeavors.
In a warm message released on Friday morning, Hon. Obioma encouraged the people of Umuahia South to embrace the new month with renewed hope and determination.
He reminded them that each new month presents another opportunity for growth, service to God, and unity in the pursuit of shared goals.
“August is a fresh gift from God, and I pray it brings peace to our homes, progress in our communities, and prosperity to every household,” Hon. Obioma stated.
“We must continue to support one another and remain steadfast in our collective pursuit of a better Umuahia South.”
Reaffirming his commitment to purposeful leadership, Hon. Obioma assured the people that he would continue to serve with integrity, transparency, and a strong sense of responsibility.
He emphasized that his legislative activities would remain rooted in the needs and aspirations of the people who entrusted him with their mandate.
“Representation is a sacred duty, and I do not take the trust of my people for granted,” he added.
“This August, I renew my pledge to remain accessible, accountable, and committed to initiatives that improve lives, especially in education, healthcare, infrastructure, and youth empowerment.”
Hon. Obioma also called on constituents to remain prayerful and united, particularly in these challenging times, stressing that with faith and a shared vision, Umuahia South will continue to thrive.
“Let us not be weary in well-doing. The challenges we face as a community are real, but so is our resilience,” he said. “Together, with God on our side, we will overcome and prosper.”
The lawmaker concluded his message by urging residents to look out for one another, engage in community development efforts, and uphold values of honesty, diligence, and mutual respect.
As the Chief Whip of the State Assembly, Hon. Obioma continues to play a vital role in strengthening legislative processes while promoting policies that reflect the voices and values of his constituency.
