Abia |December 1, 2025 —

As the new month begins, Abia State 2027 Governorship Aspirant, Chief Mascot Uzor-Kalu (MUK), has extended heartfelt December greetings to Abians, declaring that the month will usher in growth, unity, and tangible outcomes their various endeavors.

In his goodwill message, Mascot Uzor-Kalu described December as a pivotal month for rebuilding public confidence, deepening partnerships, and energizing development-focused initiatives.

He noted that the new month presents a fresh opportunity for collective progress, especially for a state that urgently desires genuine transformation.

December is a month of promise. It is a reminder that no matter the challenges behind us, we can still build, grow, and achieve meaningful results. For all Abians, this will be a month of visible impact,” Mascot declared.

He noted that the spirit of unity is crucial for development to flourish, urging citizens to embrace peace and cooperation in their communities.

According to him, Abia’s progress depends heavily on shared responsibility and a renewed commitment to the values that bind the state together.

Unity remains our greatest strength. When we walk together, there is no challenge we cannot overcome. This December, I am calling on every Abian to stand together, support one another, and commit to building a stronger state,” he said.

The 2027 governorship aspirant noted that while various social and economic activities are unfolding across Abia, the state is still far from the level of progress its people truly deserve. He stressed that genuine development must be experienced at the grassroots, not merely spoken about, emphasizing that Abians are yearning for leadership that delivers real, measurable change.

The people deserve results they can see and touch. Responsibility demands that leaders and citizens work hand in hand to create those results. December will demonstrate how much can be achieved when everyone contributes meaningfully,” he added.

He further encouraged Abians to use the month as an avenue to extend kindness, strengthen family ties, and support communal growth, stressing that socio-economic progress thrives in an atmosphere of goodwill and mutual respect.

“As we enter the festive period, let us show love, offer support, and lift one another. A progressive society is built on compassion, hard work, and unity of purpose. This season presents a perfect chance to demonstrate these values,” MUK noted.

Mascot Uzor-Kalu concluded by reaffirming his dedication to the collective progress of Abia State, assuring citizens that he will continue to lend his voice, ideas, and influence toward advancing the state’s development.
