The Chairman Zone 9 Police Command PCRC Dr Collins Ugochukwu Obi who doubles as Special Adviser to Abia State Governor on Police affairs has commended the Governor of Abia state Okezie Ikpeazu for the support he has been giving to the Police and other security agencies which has left the State as one of the most peaceful. He equally welcomed the new Commissioner of Police Abia State Mustapha Nassarawa said he will improve on the achievements of the former Cp now AIG Janeth Agbede, Dr Obi commended the AIG Zone9 Mr Isaac akinmoyede for his sense of Professionalism and commitment.
In his speech, Dr Obi hailed the Abia State house of Assembly under the able leadership of Engr Chinedu Orji's intelligent and decent leadership which has made the Abia house of Assembly the most organized and peaceful in Nigeria and its peaceful working relationship with the Executive and Judiciary
Dr Obi commended the youths for their peaceful conduct during the Voters card exercise and advised Politicians on the need for peaceful electioneering campaign and advised all to the law abiding
In Conclusion, he commended the Court of appeal for its directive to ASUU to end the ASUU Strike, also thanked ASUU, Federal govt, house of reps and Student Union for the peaceful way it ended necessitating the opening of the universities
