CHILDREN'S DAY: Teach your Children Our Cultural Heritage; President Igbo World Union (IWU) Urges Parents


His Imperial Majesty, Sir Mishak Nnanta, President, Igbo World Union, Gburugburu Ndigbo Dum has described children as gifts to every generation, emphasizing their importance in the continuation of family lines and societal progress.

Speaking at his revered Ikiri Palace today being Children's Day, His Imperial Majesty said, "Children are the joy of every family and the future of our society. They bring us happiness, hope, and a sense of purpose."

He emphasized the need for parents, guardians, and the community to provide children with love, care, and quality education, saying, "By investing in our children, we are securing a brighter future for ourselves and our society."

The Monarch also stressed the importance of preserving cultural values and traditions, saying, "We must teach our children about our heritage and customs, so they can carry them forward and make us proud."

Sir Mishak Nnanta blessed the children, saying, "May you grow up to be great leaders, innovators, and change-makers. May you make your families and society proud." he concluded.
