Rapid Star rise:Youth empowerment is Key to me; Hon. Akaliro doles out cash to winners


Hon. Barr. Anderson Kelechi Akaliro, member representing Umuahia North Constituency in Abia State House of Assembly, has encouraged the finalists of Rapid Star rise music hunt organized by Rapid fm in Umuahia, Abia state, urging them to continue showcasing their skills and pursuing their passions.

The talent hunt, which aims at discovering and nurturing young Nigerian singers, saw participants competing in four (4) stages; the audition stage, eviction stage, elimination stage and the grand finale has been slated for Sunday, May 26 2024 at Delatinos Event center. 

The finalists, who were selected after a rigorous judging process, and the Star rise Organisers were hosted by Hon. Akaliro at his constituency office.

While congratulating the finalists on their achievements, the lawmaker said, "I am impressed by the incredible talents I have seen today. You all have the potential to become stars, and I encourage you to keep working hard and pushing boundaries."

Barr. Akaliro who is also a major sponsor of the Rapid Star rise music competition pledged his continuous support for the finalists, offering to facilitate opportunities for them to showcase their talents at the state and national levels. "We will continue to empower and support Abia and Umuahia North youths to achieve their full potential, and I am committed to helping you all succeed," he added.

The finalists and the organizers of the show, thanked Hon. Anderson Akaliro for his encouragement and support. 

They promised to continue making the state proud.
