Abia @ 33: IWU President, Sir Mishak Nnanta Celebrates Abians, Urges Resilience and Prayers for Governor Otti


Umuahia, August 27, 2024 — The President-General of the Igbo World Union (IWU), Amb. Sir Mishak Nnanta (KJW), Gburugburu Ndigbo Dum has extended his heartfelt felicitations to all Abians on the occasion of the State’s 33rd anniversary, encouraging them to remain resilient and to keep Gov. Alex Otti in their prayers.

In his message commemorating the anniversary, Sir Nnanta applauded the perseverance and enduring spirit of the people of Abia State, acknowledging the challenges they have faced and overcome. He emphasized the importance of unity and collective effort in driving the state's progress, highlighting the significant contributions of Abians to the broader Nigerian landscape.

"On this auspicious occasion of Abia State's 33rd anniversary, I send my warmest greetings to all Abians, both within the state and across the globe. It is a time for us to reflect on our journey, celebrate our successes, and recommit to the vision of a prosperous and united Abia," Sir Nnanta stated.

He urged Abians to continue rallying behind Governor Alex Otti, whose administration, he noted, is focused on transformative policies aimed at improving the state’s socio-economic landscape. 
Amb. Mishak Nnanta called for patience, resilience, and a collective spirit of solidarity, essential qualities for overcoming current challenges and ensuring sustainable development.

"Dr Alex Otti is deeply committed to the advancement of Abia State. However, the path to progress requires our combined efforts, steadfast resilience, and, above all, prayers. I encourage every Abian to keep our state and its leadership in their prayers, and to work together for the common good," he added.
