Former Speaker, Chinedum Orji Lauds Dangote on Refinery Project, Hails Tinubu for His Vision

Former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, has commended Africa’s richest man, Aliko Dangote, for his landmark achievement in completing the Dangote Refinery Project.
Orji described the project as a monumental milestone in Nigeria's quest for economic independence and energy self-sufficiency.

Speaking during an event in Lagos, Orji praised Dangote's resilience and commitment, which culminated in the creation of Africa’s largest refinery. He highlighted that the project, which is set to significantly reduce Nigeria’s dependence on imported petroleum products, is a game-changer for the nation's economy and a beacon of hope for other investors in the region.

Orji also hailed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his vision and leadership in supporting critical infrastructure projects like the Dangote Refinery. He acknowledged that Tinubu's administration has created an enabling environment for investments, promoting national growth and industrialization.
"The president’s foresight in recognizing and facilitating these transformational projects will no doubt accelerate Nigeria's economic diversification and development," Orji stated.

He emphasized that the synergy between the public and private sectors, as exemplified by the Dangote Refinery, would go a long way in addressing Nigeria's economic challenges, creating jobs, and fostering sustainable growth in various sectors.

Orji urged other Nigerian business moguls to take a cue from Dangote’s commitment to national development, adding that collective efforts from the private sector are critical to achieving Nigeria’s economic potential.
