Be Hopeful in What God Can Do – Engr Chinedum Orji Encourages Christians

Umuahia, Nigeria –
Former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Engr Chinedum Orji, has urged Christians to remain hopeful and trust in God's ability to transform their lives and the nation, despite the challenges facing the country.

Speaking on Sunday, Orji shared a message of faith, resilience, and optimism, encouraging all to trust in divine intervention.

Addressing the current socio-economic difficulties, Orji acknowledged that Nigerians are facing trying times but emphasized that God’s power to change circumstances remains steadfast.
"We may be going through tough times, but I want to encourage you not to lose hope. Be hopeful in what God can do because His plans are far greater than our current struggles," he said.

In his address,  Engr Orji pointed to the power of faith as the key to overcoming adversity. He noted that, while political instability, rising costs of living, and insecurity are weighing heavily on Nigerians, it is essential to remember that God is always in control.
"There is no challenge too big for God. Our faith in Him must remain unwavering, even in the most difficult moments," he urged.

Orji reminded Christians that throughout history, moments of trial have often led to great spiritual and personal breakthroughs even as president Bola Ahmed Tinubu navigates his vision for a better Nigeria. He encouraged the congregation to continue seeking God’s guidance and to believe that change is possible. "We must keep our hope alive and continue praying for divine intervention. Our prayers can change not only our personal situations but also the fate of our nation," he stated.

Orji also touched on the broader issues facing Nigeria, calling for national optimism in the face of adversity. He stressed that with faith and collective effort, Nigeria can overcome its challenges.
"No matter how difficult the times may be, we must trust in God's ability to turn things around. Let us be hopeful that God will bring peace, prosperity, and progress to our country."

He urged the Christian community to remain steadfast in their prayers for Nigeria’s leaders, security, and economic recovery, stating that the future holds promise if the nation keeps faith in God’s plan.
