The former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Chinedum Orji, has extended warm and heartfelt felicitations to Muslim faithful in Abia State and beyond on the occasion of Eid el Maulud, the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad.
In a statement issued by his media office, Orji expressed his goodwill message
In his words, "I join millions of Muslims in Abia State and across the globe to celebrate the birthday of the Holy Prophet Muhammad. This auspicious occasion reminds us of the Prophet's teachings of love, peace, unity, and forgiveness, which are essential for the development and progress of our society."
Orji urged Muslims to emulate the virtues of the Holy Prophet, "As we mark this significant day, let us reflect on the Prophet's exemplary life and strive to follow his footsteps in promoting peace, love, harmony, and tolerance in our society. Let us also remember to show compassion and kindness to one another, especially to the less privileged," he advised
He also prayed for peace, prosperity, and unity in Abia State and Nigeria,
"May the blessings of Allah be upon us all as we celebrate this joyous occasion. May He grant us the wisdom to live in peace and harmony, and may He prosper our dear state and nation. May we also continue to enjoy the divine protection and guidance of Allah."
