Nigeria’s Chidimma Adentshina emerges first runner-up as Denmark's Victoria Kjaer Theilvig wins Miss Universe 2024

Victoria Theilvig from Denmark clinched the Miss Universe 2024 crown, triumphing over 124 contestants in a three-hour pageant held in Mexico on Sunday, November 17.
Nigeria’s Chidimma Adetshina was named 1st runner-up, followed by María Fernanda Beltran of Mexico, Suchata Chuangsri of Thailand, and Ileana Márquez of Venezuela.
Theilvig’s victory marks Denmark’s first-ever win, while Chidimma Adetshina made history as the first ever Nigerian to become 1st runner-up. 

Chidinma Adetshina receives the title of Miss Universe Africa and Oceania for being the highest placing African at the Miss Universe contest.
