Abia State, December 4,2024 —
The Chief Whip and Member representing Umuahia South in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Emeka Obioma, has officially announced the completion of two critical water projects aimed at improving access to clean water in the constituency.
In a message to his constituents on Tuesday, Hon. Obioma expressed his satisfaction with the successful delivery of the projects, which include the borehole installation at Ogbodiukwu Health Centre and the community water project at Ipupe Health Centre.
The Ogbodiukwu Health Centre project features a borehole system equipped with tank stands, water tanks, and pumps, ensuring a steady supply of potable water for the facility and its surrounding community.
Similarly, the Ipupe Health Centre and its neighboring areas in Ubakala Ward A now benefit from a fully functional water supply system, marking a significant step toward addressing water scarcity in the communities.
“These projects reflect my commitment to fulfilling the promises made during my campaign and to improving the well-being of all residents in Umuahia South,” Hon. Obioma stated. “Expect more—we will do more,” he added.
The lawmaker emphasized the importance of collaboration and community support, expressing gratitude to the residents for their encouragement and active participation in the development efforts.
“Thank you for your continued support as we work together to build a stronger constituency,” he concluded.
Umuahia South Constituents have praised Hon. Obioma for his dedication to improving essential services, with many noting the transformative impact of the water projects.
These initiatives not only address immediate needs but also enhance the overall quality of life for the people of Umuahia South.
The successful delivery of these projects marks a significant milestone in Hon. Obioma’s tenure and sets a positive tone for future development initiatives in the constituency.
