The member representing Umuahia North State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Anderson Akaliro, has extended warm congratulations to Chief Donatus Enyinnah Nwankpa on his appointment as the Abia State Chairman of the Nigerian Institute of Science Laboratory Technology (NISLT).
The appointment, announced on January 23, 2025, by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, was part of a series of board appointments, which included chairpersons for 42 federal organizations and a secretary for the board of the Civil Defence, Immigration, and Prisons Services.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Akaliro praised Nwankpa as a man of outstanding competence and integrity, describing his selection as a well-deserved recognition of his leadership abilities and commitment to service.
"Chief Donatus Enyinnah Nwankpa is the best man for the job," Akaliro stated.
"His wealth of experience, dedication to excellence, and deep understanding of the science and technology sector make him uniquely qualified to lead the Abia State chapter of NISLT.
I have no doubt that his tenure will bring transformative progress to the institute and further strengthen Abia's contributions to national development."
The lawmaker further commended President Tinubu for the strategic appointments, expressing confidence that they would enhance the functionality and effectiveness of key institutions across the country.
