Hon. Emeka Obioma, the Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly and Umuahia South Rep, has commended Governor Alex Otti for his commitment to infrastructural development across Abia State.
Speaking in Umuahia on Wednesday, Hon. Emeka Obioma praised the governor for not only listening to the demands of the people but also taking decisive steps to address them.
“Abians asked for infrastructure, and Dr. Alex Otti understood the assignment. His administration is delivering on roads, healthcare, education, and other critical sectors,” he stated.
Since assuming office, Dr Alex Otti has embarked on an aggressive infrastructure revamp, with major roads in Aba, Umuahia, and other parts of the state undergoing reconstruction.
Abians have lauded his administration for tackling long-standing challenges, particularly in Aba, the state’s commercial hub, where poor road networks had hindered business activities for years.
Hon. Obioma highlighted the governor’s inclusive leadership style, ensuring that every part of the state benefits from development projects.
“For the first time in a long while, Abians can see real transformation happening before their eyes.
The roads are no longer death traps, schools are being rehabilitated, and the health sector is receiving serious attention,” he noted.
He further called on the people of Abia to continue supporting the government’s efforts to make the state a model for economic and infrastructural growth in the Southeast.
“Good governance requires collective responsibility.
The people have demanded progress, and this administration is delivering.
Let’s all work together to sustain the momentum,” he urged.
