The member representing Umuahia North (Ohuhu) State Constituency, Hon. Barr. Anderson Kelechi Akaliro, has been appointed as the Chairman of the Abia State House of Assembly Standing Committee on the South East Development Commission (SEDC).
The appointment was officially announced by the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa, during plenary on Wednesday, April 2, 2025.
Barr Anderson Akaliro will now oversee legislative activities related to the SEDC, a critical commission focused on fostering economic growth, infrastructure development, and regional integration in the South East.
