Hon. Obi Aguocha, Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency in the National Assembly in a firm reaffirmation of his legislative mission, has restated his commitment to an inclusive and accountable style of representation rooted in transparency, accessibility, and genuine service to the people.

Speaking, Hon. Aguocha assured his constituents that every ward and community under his care remains a critical stakeholder in the collective progress of the constituency.

"From day one, I made it clear that my representation will not be built on slogans, but on substance," Hon. Aguocha said. "I will continue to be accessible, transparent, and accountable. The people are not just voters; they are partners in development."

The lawmaker emphasized that the core of his legislative philosophy is rooted in justice, equity, and fairness, promising never to allow partisan politics or ethnic sentiments to influence the allocation of developmental projects or federal opportunities.

"Inclusive representation means every voice counts," he noted. "We are building Bridges, not walls and every segment of our constituency must feel the impact of federal presence."

Hon. Aguocha also highlighted some of his interventions since assuming office, including his education support program, youth skill acquisition initiatives, and efforts to attract road rehabilitation to neglected rural areas. He reiterated that all projects are selected based on grassroots consultations and needs assessment.

"I will not wait for Abuja to dictate what our people need," he continued.
"Development starts with listening, and I am committed to listening more than I speak."

Several community leaders commended the lawmaker’s approach, describing him as a “breath of fresh air” in a political climate often criticized for neglect and broken promises. They lauded his open-door policy, his public accountability updates, and his courage in defending the rights of the South East at the federal level.

In his concluding remarks, Hon. Aguocha urged constituents to remain engaged, provide feedback, and hold him accountable when necessary.

"I was elected to serve, not to be served. My vision remains clear; to give Ikwuano, Umuahia North and Umuahia South a strong, honest, and responsible voice in the National Assembly," he affirmed.
