As July begins, the Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly and representative of Umuahia South State Constituency, Hon. Emeka Obioma, has extended heartfelt greetings to his constituents, assuring them of greater achievements in the days ahead.
In his new month message released on Tuesday, Hon. Obioma reaffirmed his commitment to progressive representation rooted in faith, service, and accountability.
“Each new month is a gift from God, and I welcome July with renewed hope and deep gratitude,” Hon. Obioma said.
“I remain thankful to the good people of Umuahia South for your steadfast support and prayers. With God’s help and your continued encouragement, we shall achieve even more this month.”
The lawmaker emphasized that the progress made in the past months would serve as a foundation for even greater strides in July, particularly in legislative advocacy, youth empowerment, education, and constituency outreach programs.
According to him, service to the people remains his driving motivation.
“My commitment to the welfare of my people remains unwavering,” he stated. “From pushing for policies that benefit our communities to ensuring that the voices of the people of Umuahia South are heard loud and clear in the House, I will not relent.”
Hon. Obioma also urged constituents to remain hopeful and resilient amid national and economic challenges, assuring them that purposeful leadership and a spirit of unity would carry the constituency forward.
“Even in difficult times, we must never lose sight of our faith and collective strength,” he noted. “This month, I pray for peace, progress, and divine favor upon every home in Umuahia South and beyond.”
He used the opportunity to hint at ongoing plans to expand existing youth support programs and educational assistance initiatives, describing them as critical to building a brighter future.
“We are working on the next phase of educational and skills development support. I believe strongly in equipping our young people with the tools to succeed,” Hon. Obioma revealed.
Concluding his message, the lawmaker called on all Umuahia south constituents to continue partnering with him through open communication, collaboration, and community spirit.
“July is a month of possibility,” he said. “Let us walk it together, with God guiding us and with you, my people, standing beside me. I am confident that together, we will accomplish more.”
