The Mayor of the London Borough of Barking and Dagenham, Princess Opeyemi Bright, on Thursday visited the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
Bright shared the pictures of her meeting with the governor in an Instagram post.
In a post, the 29-year-old mayor disclosed her desire to collaborate with the governor’s initiatives to help young Nigerians in the country and the United Kingdom.
“I had the opportunity to share my vision for youth empowerment and cross-border collaboration, and expressed my desire to work together on initiatives that create a lasting impact for young people in both Nigeria and my borough,” she said.
Last week, the British-Nigerian politician inaugurated an 18-member community committee in the UK “to support and champion the work of the Mayor’s Office this year.”
