The Member representing Isiukwuato State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Lucky Udoka Nweke Johnson, has extended warm Christmas and New Year greetings to his constituents, calling on them to embrace peace, unity, and goodwill as they celebrate the festive season.
In his Christmas and New Year message, Hon. Johnson described the yuletide as a period of reflection, gratitude to God, and renewed commitment to values that promote harmony and collective progress. He noted that the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ offers an important reminder of love, sacrifice, and compassion, virtues he said remain critical to community development and peaceful coexistence.
“As we celebrate the birth of our Lord Jesus Christ, I extend my heartfelt Christmas and New Year greetings to the good people of Isiukwuato State Constituency,” Johnson said.
“This season reminds us of the power of love, sacrifice, and unity, and the need to live together in peace as one people.”
The lawmaker urged constituents to use the festive period to strengthen family ties and community bonds, stressing that peace and mutual understanding remain the foundation for sustainable development at the grassroots level.
“Christmas calls us to look beyond our differences and embrace one another with understanding and compassion,” he stated.
“When there is peace in our homes and communities, development will naturally thrive, and opportunities for growth will expand for everyone.”
Hon. Johnson also expressed appreciation to the people of Isiukwuato for their continuous support, prayers, and cooperation, noting that their encouragement has remained a source of motivation in his legislative responsibilities at the Abia State House of Assembly.
