Hon. Lucky Johnson Hosts Isuikwuato Labour Party Leaders, Charts Path for Party Growth


Abia, Isuikwuato LGA |December 16, 2025 — 

Hon. Lucky Udoka Nweke Johnson, member representing Isuikwuato State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly on Monday, hosted a productive gathering with leaders of the Isuikwuato Labour Party and ward executives at his country home in Umuasua community. 

The event was aimed at fostering unity, discussing strategies for party growth, and strengthening grassroots engagement across the local government area.


Hon. Johnson welcomed the executives, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and a shared vision in advancing the party’s objectives.

During the meeting, Johnson encouraged party leaders to continually seek innovative ways to improve communication, mobilize members, and promote the values of the Labour Party. He stressed that consistent engagement with the electorate and active participation in community development would be key to the party’s sustained relevance and success. 

It is not enough to hold positions; we must actively serve, inspire confidence, and ensure that our party’s ideals translate into meaningful action in our communities,” he added.


Leaders present at the meeting shared insights on local challenges, party operations, and potential strategies for grassroots mobilization. The discussion also provided a platform for ward executives to raise concerns, offer feedback, and contribute to the formulation of actionable plans that would strengthen the party at both local and state levels.

The Labour Party Chairman in Isuikwuato LGA, Hon. Harrison Onuke, commended Hon. Johnson for hosting the executives and facilitating a productive engagement.
