The Isuikwuato Nwanneukwu Cultural Festival on Wednesday, December 24, 2025, witnessed a remarkable moment on as the Isuikwuato Development Union (IDU) Worldwide honoured Onyekwere Akym Uche (OAU), former Abia governorship candidate and founder of the OAU foundation, for his unwavering dedication to humanitarian service and social and economic empowerment within the community.
The festival, held at the Isuikwuato High School field, drew a vibrant crowd of traditional rulers, community leaders, stakeholders, and cultural enthusiasts from across and beyond the constituency.
The prestigious award recognized OAU’s consistent efforts in creating positive change through initiatives that uplift vulnerable groups, foster economic growth, and strengthen communal ties.
