Abia School, Marist Brothers' Juniorate Uturu, Abia State owned and managed by the Marist Brothers of the school, a religious congregation in the Catholic church has emerged 1st runner up in the top 10 schools with Best WAEC results in Nigeria 2022. This was contained in a released made by the West African Examination council WAEC which recorded and applauded the school's excellent performance in the recently concluded 2022 WAEC examination.
We can recall that Marist Brothers Juniorate Uturu which produces excellent results in WAEC, NECO and JAMB emphasizes on high academic standards and high moral behaviours also made 300 plus in their JAMB results as shown in the pictures.
According to the ranking, the Abia School had candidates who obtained excellent results with English Language and Mathematics and soared in A's.
Statistics also show that Maris Brothers Juniorate Uturu dominated their position with students in this feat whose performances were excellent respectively.
A brief understanding of the school shows that Marist Brothers Juniorate Uturu was opened by the Marist Brothers in 1965 and since then the Brothers have been running the school efficiently and effectively.
The two most cherished aim of the school are to strengthen academic excellence, knowledge and inculcate good morals in the students. We have teachers with strong moral and educational capacity and the relationship between teachers and students add more to the standards of the school academically.
