Abia Lawmaker, Emeka Obioma Decries 'Barbaric' Killing of Couple in Bende, Urges Action

The Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly and Umuahia South Representative, Hon. Emeka Jacob Obioma, has vehemently condemned the brutal killing of Mr. Jacob and Mrs. Comfort Udo by unknown assailants in Etiti Ulo, Bende Local Government Area.

In a statement released today, Hon. Obioma described the tragic act as "barbaric, and totally unacceptable." 
He urged security agencies to swiftly launch a comprehensive investigation to apprehend the perpetrators and bring them to justice. 

"The gruesome killing of Mr. and Mrs. Udo is both devastating and shocking. This criminal act must not go unpunished. I call on law enforcement agencies to ensure that those responsible are held accountable," Obioma stated.

The lawmaker also extended his heartfelt condolences to the family of the victims, expressing his sorrow over their loss. 
He further cautioned individuals involved in criminal activities, emphasizing that such heinous actions will not be tolerated in society.

Authorities are expected to ramp up security efforts in the area to prevent further incidents and restore a sense of safety among residents. 
The tragic murder has left the community of Etiti Ulo in shock, as investigations into the circumstances surrounding the killings continue.
