Abia Lawmaker Akaliro Urges Muslims to Pray for Peace and Development in Nigeria


Hon. Barr. Anderson Kelechi Akaliro, the distinguished representative of Umuahia North State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, has called on Muslim faithful in Nigeria to pray for the nation's peace and development during the Eid El-Kabir celebration.

In his message, Hon. Akaliro congratulated Muslims across the country and highlighted that Eid El-Kabir, also known as the "Festival of Sacrifice," symbolizes faith, obedience, and devotion. He encouraged all Nigerians to embrace the values of sacrifice, compassion, and generosity that the festival represents.

Akaliro also emphasized the importance of promoting peace, unity, love, and harmony, irrespective of religious beliefs or backgrounds. He noted that these virtues are essential for the nation's progress.

He urged Nigerians to reflect on what unites them and fosters development, especially during significant occasions like Eid El-Kabir. 
Barr. Akaliro assured that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration is aware of the country’s challenges and is working tirelessly to address them.

The lawmaker called on Nigerians to support President Tinubu's efforts in revitalizing the economy, reducing insecurity, and promoting business and infrastructure development. He appealed for patience and optimism, urging citizens to give the administration more time to achieve its goals.

Akaliro concluded by encouraging peaceful and tolerant actions among Nigerians, as this is crucial for national cohesion and progress. He extended his best wishes for a joyous Eid El-Kabir to all Nigerians.
