Hon Obioma's Constituency Projects Receive Accolades, Speaker Emeruwa Commends His Dedication


Abia Assembly Chief Whip, Hon. Emeka Tommy Obioma remains an invaluable representative, and his latest commissioning of projects in Umuahia South has further demonstrated his dedication to his constituents. 

The Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Emmanuel Emeruwa, on Wednesday, June 19, 2024 inaugurated renovated classroom blocks at Okwu Primary School in Olokoro, Umuahia South Local Government Area. 
The project was executed by Hon. Emeka Obioma, the Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly and representative for Umuahia South Constituency.

At the inauguration ceremony, the Speaker, along with the Deputy Speaker, Rt. Hon. Austin Nmeregini, and other dignitaries, praised Hon. Obioma for his dedication to enhancing education. 
The Speaker reiterated the state government's commitment to delivering more developmental projects to the people of Abia, emphasizing the importance of lasting infrastructure.
His Royal Majesty, Eze Boniface Izuogu, the traditional ruler of Okwu, highlighted Hon. Obioma's significant contributions to improving education in the community, which are paving the way for a brighter future for the children of Okwu. He expressed gratitude for Hon. Obioma's selfless service and encouraged him to continue his commendable efforts.

In addition, the Deputy Speaker commissioned a borehole project in Amibo Ubakala, executed by Hon. Emeka Obioma. 
The community leaders and residents expressed their appreciation for the project, which will provide clean water for the community.

Chief Whip Emeka Obioma also commissioned another borehole project in Ohiya, where he was received by the traditional ruler, HRH Eze A.E Uhegbu Oha Nyere 1. The traditional ruler and his council of chiefs praised Hon. Obioma's efforts and encouraged him to continue his good work.

The House Majority Leader, Hon. Okoro Uchenna, commended Hon. Obioma's efforts in providing essential amenities to the community and urged the residents to continue supporting government initiatives.
