Mishak Nnanta Welcomes New Abia State Commissioner of Police, CP Isa Danladi

Umuahia, Abia State -

The President-General Igbo World Union, Royal Grand Patron PCRC, National Coordinator of the Chairmen of the National Patrons of South East, and the Ambassador of POWA, His Imperial Majesty Amb. Sir Dr. Mishak Nnanta (KJW, Ksm, JP), Gburugburu Ndigbo Dum, has congratulated CP Isa Danladi on his appointment as Abia State Commissioner of Police.

"I heartily congratulate CP Danladi Isa on his well-deserved appointment as Abia State Commissioner of Police," Amb. Mishak Nnanta stated.

"This is a call to greater dedication to the service of his fatherland, and I urge him to make a positive difference in the security management of Abia State."

Danladi assumed office last week, succeeding Kenechukwu Onwuemelie, now promoted to Assistant Inspector General (AIG).

The Police Service Commission (PSC) approved CP Danladi's appointment, along with three other substantive Commissioners of Police for Lagos, Ebonyi, and Akwa Ibom State Commands.

"The security of Abia State requires urgent attention, and I charge CP Isa Danladi to hit the ground running," Nnanta emphasized. "He must build a competitive, competent, and efficient police force that earns the trust and confidence of the people."

Mishak Nnanta expressed optimism about CP Danladi's tenure, citing his vast experience and expertise.

"I have no doubt that CP Danladi will bring his wealth of experience to bear on the security challenges facing Abia State. I assure him of our support and cooperation in his efforts to ensure peace and security in the state."

The Police Service Commission's Head of Press and Public Relations, Ikechukwu Ani, announced the appointment of the new commissioners in a statement released on Friday.

As the 34th Commissioner of Police in Abia State, CP Isa is expected to maintain the state's reputation as one of Nigeria's most peaceful states. His predecessor, Kenechukwu Onwuemelie, now an Assistant Inspector General, had achieved significant successes in securing the state.

As CP Isa Danladi begins his tenure, Gburugburu Ndigbo Dum urged Abia residents to cooperate with the new commissioner, saying, "Together, we can build a safer and more prosperous Abia State."

The state's commitment to supporting its police command is evident in its collaborative efforts with security agencies.

With CP Isa Danladi at the helm, Abia State looks forward to enhanced security and continued peace.
