As the month of September begins, the Member representing Umuahia South Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon Emeka Obioma, has welcomed his constituents to the new month.
In a statement released by his office, the Abia State House of Assembly Chief Whip, Obioma expressed his gratitude to God for the gift of life and the opportunity to serve his people.
He also commended his constituents for their support and cooperation.
"I am grateful for the trust you have placed in me to represent you. I promise to continue working tirelessly to address your needs and concerns," Obioma said.
The Umuahia South Rep also used the opportunity to highlight some of his achievements in office, including the completion of several projects and the facilitation of empowerment programs for his constituents. He assured them that more projects are in the pipeline and that he will continue to work hard to attract more development to the constituency.
As the month of September begins, Hon Obioma encouraged his constituents to remain hopeful and optimistic, despite the challenges facing the country. He urged them to continue to work together to build a better future for themselves and their children.
In his words, "Let us continue to support one another and work together to build a prosperous and peaceful community. I am committed to doing my part, and I ask that you do yours. Together, we can achieve great things."
The Lawmaker also announced plans to hold a town hall meeting with his constituents in the coming weeks, to discuss their concerns and needs. He promised to use the opportunity to listen to their feedback and ideas, and to provide updates on his activities in office.
As the people of Umuahia South Constituency welcome the new month, they can be assured that their representative, Hon Emeka Obioma, is committed to working hard to make their lives better.
