The member representing Umuahia North in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Anderson Akaliro, has sent a warm congratulatory message to Engr. Chinedum Orji, the former Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, as he marks his birthday.
Hon. Akaliro extolled Engr. Orji's unwavering commitment to the development of Abia State and his exemplary leadership during his tenure as Speaker.
Akaliro described Orji as a "beacon of hope, an advocate for justice, and a leader who remains deeply connected to the needs of the people."
Hon. Akaliro also hailed Orji as a "visionary and an exemplary statesman who has contributed immensely to the progress of Abia State."
He lauded the former Speaker for his dedication to the well-being of his people and his unwavering commitment to good governance.
“Ikuku, remains a shining example of what true leadership should embody,” Akaliro remarked.
“His selflessness, integrity, and passion for the development of Abia State stand as a testament to his unwavering commitment to public service. He is a man who has always placed the interests of the people above personal gain.”
The lawmaker further emphasized the transformative impact of Engr. Orji's tenure as Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, noting that his policies and initiatives laid a solid foundation for legislative excellence.
“As Speaker, Engr. Orji brought innovation and inclusivity to the legislative process,” Akaliro added.

Engr. Chinedum Orji, who served as Speaker from 2019 to 2023, is widely regarded as one of the most influential leaders in Abia State's political history. His tenure was marked by legislative advancements, community empowerment initiatives, and infrastructural development.
