Umuahia South Accountability Front (USAF) Hails Hon. Emeka Obioma, Passes Vote of Confidence


Umuahia, January 18, 2025 – 

The Umuahia South Accountability Front (USAF), a renowned advocacy group for good governance and accountability, has lauded Hon. Emeka Obioma for his exceptional leadership and commitment to the development of Umuahia South communities.

In a statement issued after its recent stakeholders' meeting, the group passed a vote of confidence on Hon. Obioma, applauding his efforts in the provision of basic amenities across the constituency. 

USAF commended the lawmaker’s proactive approach in addressing critical needs, which have significantly improved the living standards of the people.

Speaking on behalf of the group, the Chairman of USAF, Amb. Kalu Nwachukwu, highlighted several projects facilitated by Hon. Obioma, including the installation of Borehole water systems in various communities in Umuahia South, renovation of primary school buildings, and Scholarship/annual free JAMB registration for Students.

Constituents of Umuahia South also shared their appreciation, describing the initiatives as a welcome relief after years of neglect. 
One community leader, Mrs. Ngozi Chukwu, remarked, “For the first time in decades, we can see visible progress in our area. Hon. Obioma’s efforts have given us hope for a better future.”

The USAF further urged Hon. Obioma to sustain the momentum, emphasizing the need for continued collaboration with stakeholders to ensure even distribution of developmental projects across the constituency.
