The member representing Umuahia North State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, Hon. Barr. Anderson Kelechi Akaliro, has extended heartfelt congratulations to the Federal College of Education, Ofeme, on the occasion of its maiden induction and matriculation ceremony held on Friday, September 26, 2025.
Describing the event as a landmark achievement, Hon. Akaliro noted that the institution’s progress represents a beacon of hope for Abia State and Nigeria.
“This milestone is not only a historic achievement for the College but also a dawn of greater educational opportunities, intellectual growth, and the nurturing of future leaders,” he said.
The lawmaker particularly celebrated the newly inducted students, urging them to remain steadfast in their pursuit of excellence.
“To all the newly inducted students, I celebrate with you as you embark on this noble journey of academic pursuit. May you embrace discipline, hard work, and integrity as guiding principles that will enable you to excel and become shining ambassadors of our constituency and our nation,” Akaliro remarked.
He further commended the management, staff, and stakeholders of the Federal College of Education, Ofeme, for laying what he described as a solid foundation that will stand the test of time.
“I equally commend the leadership and staff of the College for your tireless efforts. Your vision and dedication will continue to transform lives and uplift our community,” he stated.
The lawmaker stressed that the success of the institution goes beyond academics, as it will also contribute significantly to the socio-economic development of the host community and Abia State at large.
Concluding his goodwill message, Hon. Akaliro said, “Congratulations once again, and may this maiden matriculation mark the beginning of many more glorious achievements.”
