The Honourable Member representing the people of Isuikwuato State Constituency in the Abia State House of Assembly, Hon. Lucky Udoka Nweke Johnson, made a grand appearance at the 2025 edition of the Isuikwuato Nwanneukwu Cultural Festival, held at the Isuikwuato High School field, arriving in the company of a distinguished entourage.
The colourful and well-attended festival drew together traditional rulers, community leaders, key stakeholders, eminent personalities, and cultural enthusiasts from within and beyond the constituency, all united in celebrating the rich history, values, and cultural heritage of Isuikwuato land.
In recognition of his exemplary leadership, visionary representation, and remarkable contributions to grassroots development, Hon. Lucky Johnson was conferred with a prestigious Leadership Award, a testament to his growing influence and impactful service to the people.
Receiving the award, the lawmaker expressed deep appreciation to the organisers of the festival and the Isuikwuato Development Union.
“I am deeply honoured and humbled by this recognition,” Hon. Johnson said. “This award is not just for me as an individual, but for the collective efforts of our people who continue to support the vision of a better Isuikwuato.”
He specifically commended the President General of the Isuikwuato Development Union, Chief Chidiebere Uguru, and his team for sustaining the cultural festival.
“Our culture remains the foundation of our identity and unity as a people,” he noted. “I commend the leadership of the Isuikwuato Development Union for keeping our heritage alive and relevant for future generations.”
In his remarks, Hon. Lucky Johnson called on ndi Isuikwuato to remain steadfast in unity, resilience, and shared purpose, stressing that collective commitment remains the cornerstone of sustainable development.
“Unity, resilience, and collective purpose are our greatest strengths,” he said. “When we stand together as one people, there is no limit to what we can achieve as a constituency.”
In conclusion, he reaffirmed his unwavering dedication to advancing the constituency, pledging to initiate, execute, and attract more government projects aimed at improving infrastructure, economic opportunities, and the overall well-being of the people of Isuikwuato.
