Umuahia South Rep. Hon. Emeka Obioma Frowns at Attack on Military Checkpoint


A devastating attack on a military checkpoint at Obikabia junction in Aba, Abia State has left four soldiers dead. 
The incident, carried out by unknown gunmen, has sparked widespread condemnation.

Hon. Emeka Obioma, Member representing Umuahia South in the Abia House of Assembly, has criticized the attack as "vile and unjust." 
He emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and hospitality in Aba, a thriving commercial hub that welcomes people from diverse backgrounds.

Obioma extended his condolences to the families of the victims, expressing his deepest sympathies for their loss. 
He also appealed for calm and peace between the residents and the Nigerian armed forces, urging both parties to work together to maintain harmony in the region.
