Hon Emeka Obioma, Umuahia South Rep and Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly has said that the 8th Assembly has consistently shown its dedication to supporting the media, acknowledging its crucial role in shaping public discourse and advancing democratic values.
Speaking to newsmen in Umuahia, the Lawmaker stated, "The media plays a vital role in promoting transparency, accountability, and good governance. As lawmakers, we recognize the importance of a free and independent press in holding us accountable to the people."
