Hon Emeka Obioma Welcomes New Abia CP Danladi, Assures Legislative Support to Tackle insecurity


Umuahia, Abia State - 
The Abia State House of Assembly Chief Whip, Hon Emeka Jacob Obioma (Tommy), has extended a warm welcome to the newly appointed Commissioner of Police, CP Isa Danladi, urging him to build upon the progress made by his predecessor in ensuring security across the state.

"I heartily congratulate CP Isa Danladi on his well-deserved appointment as the 34th Commissioner of Police in Abia State," the Lawmaker stated. "We appreciate the efforts of the former CP, Kenechukwu Onwuemelie, now promoted to Assistant Inspector General, and expect CP Danladi to continue and even surpass those achievements."

Isa Danladi's appointment follows the Police Service Commission's approval of four substantive Commissioners of Police for Abia, Lagos, Ebonyi, and Akwa Ibom State Commands. 
The new commissioners are Isa Danladi for Abia, Olanrewaju Olawale for Lagos, Anthonia Anya for Ebonyi, and Miller Dantawaye for Akwa Ibom.

Hon Emeka Obioma who is also the Umuahia South Rep in the Abia Assembly emphasized the importance of maintaining continuity in security operations. He said, "It's crucial that CP Isa Danladi hits the ground running, leveraging existing initiatives and strategies to address pressing security concerns in Abia State."

As Chief Whip, Hon Obioma has been instrumental in promoting peace and stability in Umuahia South. He encouraged Danladi to engage with local communities, fostering partnerships to tackle security challenges.

"Community policing is vital to our success," Obioma noted. "CP Danladi must work closely with local leaders, traditional rulers, and residents to identify and address security threats."

Hon Obioma's congratulatory message highlights the need for collective efforts towards achieving peace and security in Abia State. 
"We're committed to supporting CP Danladi in his efforts to ensure Abia remains a safe haven for residents and investors."
