"This strategic focus aims to popularize renewable energy technologies and encourage their adoption among Nigerians, thereby strengthening national energy security. The House has taken significant steps by recently passing a resolution mandating government ministries, agencies, and institutions to transition to renewable energy sources for their power needs," he added.
To further emphasize renewable energy as a legislative priority, Hon. Ogene announced the forthcoming National Legislative Summit on Renewable Energy, scheduled for May 5–7, 2025.

For those familiar with the state's previous state, we came determined to rewrite its story. We recognize the potential of our people and understand that they require only minimal governmental support to Thrive.
"Our citizens do not seek handouts; they are resilient and industrious. What they need is an enabling environment with guaranteed security, access to quality healthcare and education, and robust infrastructure, including good roads," Governor Otti emphasized.
