Emeka Obioma to Partner with community leaders, youths, and women in identifying more Constituency needs

The Chief Whip of the Abia State House of Assembly and Member representing Umuahia South State Constituency, Hon. Emeka Tommy Jacob Obioma, has expressed deep gratitude to his constituents for their steadfast support, assuring them that he will continue to champion projects and initiatives that improve lives and foster sustainable development in the area.

 

In his statement, Hon. Obioma appreciated the people for their trust and mandate, and also reaffirmed his commitment to bringing tangible progress to Umuahia South. 

 

“Your unwavering support and confidence in me are the driving forces behind my service,” Hon. Obioma stated.

“I sincerely appreciate you and promise to work even harder for the growth and development of our constituency.” 

 

He highlighted some of the projects already executed under his tenure, ranging from infrastructure rehabilitation to educational support programs, youth empowerment initiatives, and healthcare interventions, noting that these efforts were only the beginning of his broader developmental agenda. 

 

“We have achieved significant milestones in a short time, but there is still much more to be done,” the lawmaker added. 

“Our focus will remain on projects that have direct impact on the grassroots, from better roads and schools to empowering our youths and supporting small businesses.” 

 

Obioma also called on constituents to maintain unity and cooperation, stressing that development thrives best in an atmosphere of peace and collective responsibility. 

He urged community leaders, youth groups, and women associations to remain engaged and proactive in working with his office to identify pressing needs. 

 

“The task of development is not mine alone; it is ours collectively,” he said. 

“When we work together, share ideas, and support one another, we can transform Umuahia South into a model constituency in Abia State.” 

 

Traditional rulers, stakeholders, and residents on their part have commended Hon. Obioma for what they described as his accessible leadership style and visible performance since assuming office.
