Hon. Anderson Akaliro Tops Online Poll, Emerges Best House of Assembly Member 2025


Umuahia, Abia State |July 22, 2025 — 
In a significant show of public confidence, Hon. Barr. Anderson Kelechi Akaliro, the Member representing Umuahia North (Ohuhu) State Constituency in the Abia House of Assembly, has emerged as the Best House of Assembly Member for 2025, an award organized by Abia State Politics Today, a platform dedicated to governance and political accountability in the state.
 
Hon. Akaliro clinched the award after polling the highest number of votes in a tightly contested selection process, defeating his closest rival, Hon. Lucky Igbokwe. 
The voting, which involved public participation and stakeholder evaluation, reflected a groundswell of support for Akaliro’s legislative impact, people-focused initiatives, and unwavering commitment to his constituents.
