The Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Obi Aguocha, has joined family, friends, and well-wishers in celebrating Commodore MacDonald Ubah (Rtd.) on the occasion of his 60th birthday.
Commodore Ubah, a retired naval officer and the current Special Adviser on Security to the Governor of Abia State, was described by Hon. Aguocha as “a man of honour, discipline, and uncommon patriotism,” whose contributions to the peace and security architecture of Abia State continue to be appreciated by many.
In a goodwill message issued from his office in Abuja, Hon. Aguocha praised Commodore Ubah’s distinguished military career and his continued service to the state in his advisory role.
“Commodore MacDonald Ubah (Rtd.) exemplifies what it means to live a life of service. His years in the Nigerian Navy were marked by courage, professionalism, and commitment to the defense of our nation,” Hon. Aguocha stated.
“Even in retirement, he has continued to serve our people selflessly as Special Adviser on Security to the Governor of Abia State. His insights and dedication have helped strengthen security coordination and stability across various parts of the state.”
Obi Aguocha noted that turning 60 is a significant milestone and an opportunity to reflect on one’s journey, especially for someone like Commodore Ubah, whose life has been shaped by integrity, valor, and service.
“I celebrate this diamond jubilee with my dear brother and compatriot, Commodore Ubah. At 60, he remains an inspiration to many young people, especially those pursuing careers in public service and security. His wealth of experience is a treasure to our state and our generation.”
The federal lawmaker concluded by wishing Commodore Ubah continued strength, sound health, and more years of impactful service to Abia State and Nigeria at large.
“On behalf of the good people of Ikwuano/Umuahia North and South, I extend my heartfelt congratulations. May the years ahead be filled with divine grace, peace, and fulfillment,” he added.
