TECNO has reaffirmed its commitment to Nigerians through its recently launched Spark 40 Series, highlighting its focus on delivering devices that combine affordability with features tailored to the everyday needs of the country’s users.
TECNO Marketing Manager, Olumide Yomi-Omolayo, said in a statement to The PUNCH on Wednesday that the company had shown once again that innovation and affordability can go hand in hand.
“As a brand, we believe in the Nigerian story, cultural relevance, and usage stays at the top of our minds. We produce devices that Nigerians ask for with every variable considered in the Nigerian market. It’s not just a strategy; it’s because we care.”
He explained that the Spark 40 Series has been designed to integrate seamlessly into the Nigerian lifestyle. TECNO said the devices’ 5200mAh battery ensures users remain powered throughout the day, while the Helio G200 chip provides smooth performance for tasks such as switching between banking apps, streaming movies, or attending online classes.
TECNO added that with 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, users can keep photos, music, and other files without needing to delete data frequently. The company also highlighted the phones’ slim, modern design and durability, reinforced with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, noting that this suits Nigerians who may not replace devices often.
The company further said that AI-powered tools on the Spark 40 Series simplify writing, problem-solving, instant search, and photo editing, supporting students, young professionals, and small business owners in their daily tasks.
Despite offering these advanced features, TECNO emphasised that the Spark 40 Series remains budget-friendly. The company said the phone reflects its understanding of Nigerians’ economic realities and its commitment to providing a reliable device that matches the resilience and creativity of its users.
